Begin by taking a piece of paper and folding it into an accordion like so. Next, unfold and turn the paper. Then fold the paper into an accordion again. Keeping the paper folded, fold along the other creases that exist. Now for the hard part. Slowly pry the paper apart, using your fingers. It maybe a little hard, so begin at the top and work your way down. You can also turn the paper over, and try working at it from the other side. The better your paper was folded, the easier this part will be. Your final result should look something like this. Good luck and happy folding.
