- How to Draw Hands
Ok, I like to look at the hand and the feet the same and I really like to look at the hand as if it was the entire body, so therefore I’m going to give you guys a little bit on the hand cause it would take a long time.
If you look, the hand actually moves this way, nice arc, this way and fingers come out. Just a little top real quick, so we take look, the structure of the hand goes like this, could be a box or cylinder. Just remember the structure is up to you. Ok, so come around like that. Yeah, it’s just a series of boxes, and thumb. And remember, when you do you know the hand correctly, I need probably, I don’t know about 8 to 10 separate videos alright. But look at how these fingers just come, if I’m going to do a 20 minute drawing and there’s a hand just like this one, I’d probably spend as much time doing the hand as I did on the whole, rest of this drawing. Also, if you’re going to submit a portfolio make sure you put hands and feet in there, cause someone like myself will be looking.
