- Donna Dewberry teaches you how to use a round brush
Hi I’m Donna Dewberry, I’m going to work with some round brushes showing you how to do some really fun scroll work and you no you can even letter with these brushes.
Let me show you. We are taking a dampened round brush and we have some bright colors here I’m going to show you. There are a couple of ways you to load this brush. We can take and lay this brush into one color and then we are going to load it in the magenta on one side turn the brush over and then pick up some lavender this looks kind’ a fancy. Ok now watch what happens here I am going to use my little finger I am going to attach and I’m going to push down.
I’m going to lift as I’m coming around. All right so more paint. You have to pick up more paint each time reloading the same way. Push lift. Now that time I turned the pink up. Let me show you something that’s going to happen here. Whatever color is facing up ok lets do this pink again and lets stroke into white. Alright so if I’m going to take and want that white to show then I am going to put the pink down and the white up.
