- Painting - Preparing a new brush
Okay, dear friend. What do you do when you get a new brush? Now I got a new brush.
Open it up from the plastic cap, and for me, I just bend it over. Do you see? Bend it over. Bend it over. Yes. Three or four movements… ting ting ting. Yes. You see, this is a good brush. This is a goat hair brush. And still it’s a…. it’s a very good brush. You see, it bounce. Ting ting ting. It has stretched in it when it is dried, and uh… dip into the water. Totally… totally… until the end. hundred percent.
And how much ink do you need the first time? The first time, you do not need to load the whole brush. Load the whole brush with ink. Just the tip. One third… around one third. You see, the ink goes up. Yes… This is a dry stroke. And if you slant it down, you will see, here has water, here has dark ink, so you can see the stroke. And when you finish, wash it. Use a….. plastic cap, a plastic yoghurt container, or something large enough, so that you can comfortably wash the brush.
