  1. Painting/Calligraphy - Inksticks 2, protection

When you buy a new ink stick, I usually wrap it up with masking tape. Yes, wrap it up completely. This way you protect the ink stick. The weather is dry in Sydney and this ink stick came from China, so from different places in the world right. You live in different places and this is a good way to protect it. This one is already wrapped you can see wrap it up. And you see the result if I did not wrap it, it get broken.

I have 2 kids, 4yrs old and 7 years old, things happen as you can imagine, yes. So this is a good way to protect your ink stick each time you get to a certain edge peel it off continue to grind it. Buy a good ink stick. This kind of ink stick sells something like uh- I think 10 dollars something you get a decent ink stick and the more expensive up to a 100 or so, we do not need to talk about those very expensive ones. I like ink sticks and because if you like easy to carry. Each time I go to China, I go to special shops I look for some special ink sticks.
