Hi! Everyone I’m Dave Parvin, sculptor and teacher.
Welcome to my studio in Denver Colorado. And this series of instructional life casting presentations from Art mold. On this DVD I will be sharing with you my step by step methods of casting a baby’s hands and feet. Multiple hands in different poses, a dancer’s foot wearing a ballet slipper, a hand holding an object. Only six weeks old just the right size. He’s so little. Oh! As long as he’s good before I pull it out because it sets considerably stronger the longer you let it set. Ok! I think we’re ready. Now Of course its always up to the man to lead so Kurt if you go ahead and just, very gently pull your hand leaving her hand behind. Collision of what we were just doing. This was a whole bunch of people putting their hands into algenade. And making a real pile of hands. So this sort of casting is also something that’s quite popular.
